Time has made us come to a heated debate between trends v/s traditions. Infinite discussions on the same have resulted in diverse opinions. It seems the entire society has been broadly classified into two major groups that is young and old generation. And each generation rightly considers their opinions to be very superior.

Today in this fast growing world, almost every industry is at its boom. Even the Indian fashion industry seems to be minting money. With growing trends, even the young generation has well adapted themselves to this change. When the girl goes and shops for her Indian bridal gown, she finds many trendy colors like orange, pink, blue, yellow and so on… Being a Bride one does not wear the traditionally Indian colors assigned to her. Young crowd want to experiment with unique colors for their bridal gowns. But the fact is what ever may be trends, no other color can compete the gracefulness and seductiveness of red Indian bridal gowns. These are considered to be best wedding wear.

Leaving apart the stylish element, the more experienced generation also feels that we should not surrender our traditions with the passage of time. They further feel that the color “Red” has deep-rooted significance for a bride and it cannot be substituted for any other color. Red color has always been represented as the color of our Indian bride who is decked up with loads of jewelry and tiptop make up. Even the sages and hermits advice young girls to wear red Indian bridal gowns at the time of their marriage as it’s a best wedding wear.

In order to cater peoples demands, Indian designers are working on red Indian bridal gowns and trying to merge trends and traditions. Now these red Indian bridal gowns are easily available in various stylish cuts and styles. Heavily embellished designer Indian bridal gowns with choli blouses, noodle strap tops, strapless, short cholis, long cholis and heavy dupatta or stoles are quite popular. A bride in ‘Red’ can never fail to look gorgeous and attract her partner.

Though we live in the world choices, but some things should remain the same. The color red has been given a high prestige in the hindu religion and its charm should not be lost at any cost. Red Indian bridal gowns are best option for a bride on her most important day of her life.

The youngsters should understand the vitality of becoming a bride and wearing this traditionally accepted color i.e. Red. We should try and live up to the belief our ancestors rather that modifying it as per our changing trends.
